How to commit changes back to the EDNA SVN repository

To add a new file or directory to version control, you can use the following command line:

svn add <filename or directory name>

All the EDNA python source code files should have an Id string in the header. For a new file, add the following line to the header:

 # File: "$Id: $"

Assuming the file is already put under version control as explained above, you can use this command to make svn aware of the Id tag:

 svn propset 'svn:keywords' "Id" <filename>

Once you commit the file, the tag will be automatically populated. Use either Eclipse or the command line to commit the file:

 svn commit -m "<Commit message here>" <filename>
